When AV technology assists the photographer

When AV technology assists the photographer

It was great to be back at Australian Technology Park last month.  Back in my event management days I produced a number of quite large events in this venue and I haven’t been back there for a couple of years.

This venue is very user friendly for contractors – and it has decent Wi-Fi. The venue parking is a challenge though – access to the parking areas is very confusing until you get used to it.

One of the biggest challenges for photographers shooting awards is the marked difference between the intensity of light on the screens and that on the presenters and recipients. For this event Joe De Abreu of Austage used a large rear projection screen and the balance between that and the stage lighting was spot on. So nice to see appropriate technology in use.
